eclipse viewing at a brewery

Weather reports for that area though are forecasting scattered thunderstorms. Skies in Eastern Tennessee are supposed to be clearer. I plan to stay in Kingsport TN the night before and choose a direction based on the weather reports.

Message ebone1988 beers 2504 º places 24 º 12:23 Fri 8/18/2017 This may be the unpopular opinion, but as an optician who works with an optometrist every day, it’s mine (and her) professional opinion that’s it’s a bad idea to look directly at the sun. Even during a solar eclipse, it will only be "safe" to view during the TOTAL eclipse, and only Nashville is really getting that coverage. Even with "protective" glasses, you will do damage to your eyes if you look directly at the sun. You’re gonna have a tough time rating a beer’s appearance if you’re accelerating macular degeneration or just flat out blind.
