images in forums!

We are allowing linked thumbnails to images in the forums in a pilot program.

The technique is simple. Just upload to imgur and post the URL to the *original image*.

The rules here must be very clear to ensure we all can use thee new powers for good and not evil.

* No posting of sexually suggestive images - no lingerie, no bikinis, no provocative poses, no nudity.

* No pornography

* No nudity

* No sexualized imagery like photoshopped body parts or animated jiggling

* As IMGUR warns no pics of "some dude who passed out a party with his balls hanging out"

RateBeer is a workplace for many. We will deal with image link abuse very severely with first infractions being 7-day or 30-day posting or login bans.

One potential use is sharing beer labels. We might even make a forum for this?

You can post and admins can review and move the image directly to our servers.
