I tried this beer on May 6, 2008 at Smokeless Joe’s in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer was mahogany brown with a tan coloured head. The aroma was roasted malt, coffee, and some slight hoppy tinges. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was roasted malt, some coffee hints, and some hoppy bitterness.

The aroma is sweet with notes of nuts and malt, while the flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and nuts. GMCC2181 (193), Bear, Delaware, USA May 4, 2008 Bottle from matt! Nice brown color, good head. Smell of sweet caramel. Taste is pretty good... Roasted nut, brown sugar, mild amount of hops. Well balanced. Thin texture, easy to drink. Over all a decent brew. Thanks matt!
