mansquito (518), Boston/Philadelphia, USA May 11, 2008 Big foamy head... amber body. Nice toasted smell... malty, a little winy smell in there too I think. Tastes pretty nice. Not as sweet as many other viennas. A little sour close to the finish. Slightly metallic aftertaste. Pwn3d (473), Connecticut, USA May 4, 2008 Free sample at Mo’s in Fairfield. Good beer, little bit of a dry finish. Some nut, caramel, and malt notes. A little bigger than your run of the mill lager. weezfour (63), Oradell, New Jersey, USA May 4, 2008 Great, solid, beer. Gimme this anyday, thanks. Nice dark copper color. Nice balance in the hops. Beerded_one (1505), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA May 3, 2008 Draft sampled. Pours a amber/orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel, and some grass. Flavor is toasted grain, malts, mild caramel, and some notes of fruitness with a light hop bitterness vyvvy (1512), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA May 2, 2008 On tap at Piano’s in NYC. Pours light brown with a whitish head. The aroma is all malt (no noticeable hops) and very standard fair with lightly toasted malt. The beer has a medium body with typical carbonation. The taste is once again typical for an unoffensive lager, but there is a bit of butteriness. Thankfully that isn’t overpowering. Fair at best.
