DSG (439), Yuvalim, Israel May 14, 2008 Bottle sample at a beer festival in kibbutz Ma’abarot, May ’08. Deep golden with a small white head. Aroma of slightly floral hops. Flavor starts sweetish with some malt, caramel and bready notes, and and finishes bitter and hoppy, a bit sharp. Medium-bodied. Rather nice. jrmac (89), USA May 13, 2008 Beer poured a golden amber with thick white head. Aromas of hops, flowers. Tastes like caramel malt and hops. Touch of bread dough. Best lager beer I have ever had. HopBackDoc (311), Hatboro, Pennsylvania, USA May 10, 2008 On tap at the Field House in Phila. Dark but clear mahogany color with firm head, nice looking beer. Mild malty aroma, a hint of hops. The flavor was doughy and caramel malts without being too sweet. The malts were well balanced with earthy and bitter hops, but not overpowering. Medium body, well balanced flavors, and a dry finish made this a very drinkable and enjoyable quaff. I hope it is as good from the bottle as I plan on buying a case. Well done lager. drunkbeer (104), London, England May 10, 2008 i had 10 of theses in a session the other weekend .This is an unassuming Lager, which tastes more akin to an earthy pale ale ,despite not being pale or an ale if that aint too nonsensical. The most important thingis ,is that I enjoyed sinking Brooklyn. Handfulls of floral ’y hops. Sorta dusty caramell . Definitely ’flowery’, as they talk of on the label. Nice. Todeon (47), Höllviken, Sweden May 7, 2008 Bottle. Aroma is a bit bitter with some fruity notes. Pretty dark amber color. Taste is fruity with a bitter finish, cheap and good lager. Very drinkable.
