ucusty (726), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Apr 29, 2008 Thsnks to riverside.ak for the can. Gold pour white head. Cascade hops on the nose. hoppy with malty finish boFNjackson (450), Portland, Oregon, USA Apr 23, 2008 Can... Poured a pale orange with a thin white head. Aroma of buttery grains and grassy hops. Well carbonated, and very hoppy flavors right up front. Very herbal with tons of citrus and floral flavors, but also vegies and grains. Caramel malt lend to a
hop finish. This is what a pale ale should be! jjpm74 (2653), Connecticut, USA Apr 20, 2008 Pours gold with a rocky white head. Smells of citrus, sage, some pine. Tastes resiny with some tea and caramel malt. tronraner (1366), (Louis-, Sevier-, Knox-)ville, Tennessee, USA Apr 8, 2008 Can, thanks to gunhaver. Pours a golden shade of yellow with a nice white head that leaves good lacing. The aroma is nice and hoppy, focusing on the grapefruit; there is also a bit of pine, some floral notes, and a little bit of a syrupy maltiness. The flavor is fruity hops-- grapefruit, tangerine, strawberry, honeydew. It’s only moderately bitter, with focus more on actual hop flavor. There is a pronounced malty tone that comes out in the finish. Aftertaste is slightly dry. I’m very much enjoying this one. bitbucket (1425), Kirkland, Washington, USA Apr 1, 2008 Can. Pours lightly hazy gold with a thin but lacy white head. Some grapefruit in the nose, biscuit in the taste. Dry finish.
