Slacks (355), Bolton, Ontario, Canada Mar 8, 2008 355ml Bottle: Pours a very vibrant gold colour, started off with some foamy white head and quickly dissipated. Slightly sour malt aroma, bit of grass, milk, bread; not bad, interesting. Flavour is mild with decent bittering and floral hops with fruity melon and peach notes, alongside a very muted sweetness. Pretty good, but mine had an unfortunate metallic taste that I’m sure is just an off-batch and not part of the recipe. I’d like to try one on draught to compare. ILduce (71), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 27, 2008 Bottle. Clear yellow in appearance with medium white head. Layered aromas of peach, sweet potato, malt and dough. Fruity with undertones of buttermilk. Medium-bodied; creamy on the palate. JesseM (290), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Jan 8, 2008 Updated: Feb 1, 2008341ml bottle from a 9-pack that I finally got around to buying. Pours a very nice deep golden colour with a very small white head. The aroma is what I expected, very nice blending of creamy malts with some grassy hops. The flavour is more or less the same, perfect balance though, not as much of a creamy texture as I was hoping, but still pretty damn good. A very enjoyable beer, and a great cream ale. I think this style is actually kind of neat, and always extremely drinkable! JaPe (46), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 10, 2007 Weak but great smell. Clear pee color with some nice looking bubbles going about their business. Really like the after taste creamy and a little sweet. The bubbles are strong and immediately catch your attetion then the cream taste hits you. Good stuff. daniel0017 (231), Ontario, Canada Nov 10, 2007 341mL bottle: Amber body with small white frothy head. Nice, pronounce aroma of roasted barley malts and hops. Flavour is bold and you can easily taste the spicy hops and roasted malts. Exceptionally smooth finish. Smooth, well rounded palate.
