Bontus (53), Belgium May 19, 2008 Bottle 33cl in pub, in Delirium glass.
Pours orange golden with a thick white head.
Coriander and yeasty nose. Balanced flavors. Well bodied, long finish, good beer. MBison (270), Southern Highlands, Australia May 18, 2008 Bottle (330ml). Poured a hazy golden yellow with a huge, foamy white head which was fully lasting (a superb looking beer). Aroma was of sweet yeasty malts with banana smoothie, pears, orange peel, coriander, cinnamon and freshly cracked pepper. Flavor was similar to aroma with sweet yeasty malts, mild bitterness, pears, grapes, banana, coriander, cinnamon, orange peel and some straw. Alcohol content was amazingly well hidden one would think it was 5 %– 6%. Medium bodied with lively carbonation, dry mouthfeel somewhat syrupy texture and a good finish. patricks110 (50), Alberta, Canada May 15, 2008 Bottle at Bottlescrew Bills Calgary, AB. Large foamy white head. Hints of fruit in taste and smell. The beer is a hazy orange colour. The high alcohol content is unnoticable due to the great flavour. phishpond417 (392), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA May 14, 2008 Pours a hazey cloudy but bright yellow colour. Head is fairly large and off white. Flavors are pleasent, creamy mouthfeel with slightly sweet finish and a hint of spice. Peach, orange and nectarine in the aroma. sonsteng (5), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA does not count May 13, 2008 A friend recommended trying this one. Claims it went down like a glass of wine. And I had to agree it did remind me of a wine. Paired nicely with our meals Not to heavy or bitter.
