May 16, 2008 Pours a semi-hazy reddish brown with slight head. Aroma is is hops and light caramel and malts. Flavor is a bit tangy with caramel, hops and floral undertones. I can taste the raisin undertones. Body is light medium with fair carbonation.

May 15, 2008 No surprise from the guys at Dogfish Head. A complex mix of flavors all poured in a bottle for your enjoyment. A maple aroma with a caramel color, generous carbonation, with a small tangy taste initialized followed up by a hoppy, fruity aftertaste.

May 15, 2008 Totally unexpected beer. Dark brown with white head that’s gone almost immediately. Scents of fruit and roast dominance. The taste is similarly sweet, though roast bitterness and some hop citrus is present and roast/medicinal aftertaste. Dry finish. Whatever this is, it tastes like a subdued coffee stout or really subdued imperial stout.

May 11, 2008 Not a huge fan of browns, but I’ll try anything that Joe brews. Good beer - a bit too much alcohol in the aroma and on the palate. Not DF’s best but still a solid beer.
