Raphael__N (140), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 9, 2008 On tap at Volo. This one took me by surprise. Besides DFH and Stone Ruination, all the others IPAs I have had to date have been very thin and unbalanced in its bitterness. This one makes a fine IPA. Very floral aromas. The taste follows a similar bouquet with plenty of hops and bread. A fantastic beer! MrManning (1334), London, Ontario, Canada May 5, 2008 On tap at C’est what? Copper liquid is topped with a frothy beige cap. The aroma is heavy citric hops(mostly grapefruit)with some pine, followed by bready, cookie dough and caramel. Taste is bright cirtus rind hops, fresh leafy greens and pine with some butterscotch and caramel sweetness. This is quite dry and chalky, and finishes bitter and and tasty. I wish it was available near me! JoeMcPhee (3431), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Apr 8, 2008 Tap at Beer Bistro and Volo. Copper coloured brew. Aroma is loaded with pine and sweet grapefruity citrus. Lean crisp malts with a bit of breadiness as well. Flavour is quite nice. Good balance of pine and malt with a firm bitterness on the back. Lingering piny resinousness. Excellent IPA. Blasphemies (28), Ontario, Canada Apr 4, 2008 Draught at Bow&Arrow. Clear dark copper colour. Very hoppy taste, bitter with a dry finish. Do not put ketchup on your fires and go back and have a sip of this, you will feel the hops take over your face. yarry (329), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada Mar 9, 2008 Pint at Volo
A coppery brown beer a lacy head. It smells very much of floral and citrus hop notes. The taste is very hoppy, crisp and clean with a very nice dry finish. If you love hops, as I do, this beer is stellar! It somewhat reminds me of Anchor Brewings Liberty Ale
