HighlanderOne (432), Somewherein, New Jersey, USA Apr 20, 2008 Poured from bottle 4/2008. Hops in aroma. Copper color, medium head. Not the hoppiest IPA, but definitely not lacking, and the hop blend, along with the malt, is quite good. Nice finish. Thumbs up from me. River_Shark (24), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 26, 2008 One of my favorite IPA’s. The aroma you get when poured, very good. The flavor of this beer, well just try it. If you dont like hoppy beers than don’t bother. I rank this right up there with DogfishHead 60min IPA sinkr (116), Lusby, Maryland, USA Mar 26, 2008 Bottle->plastic cup (tasting@brewery): Pours a rocky, off-white head that exhibits good lacking atop of a cloudy, dark brown body. Light malt aroma, light hop aroma (this is a detractor to me for an IPA) with an average yeast aroma. The body is light, thin texture, average carbonation and a chalky/astringent finish. The flavor’s duration is average and is moderately sweet, acidic, and bitter, as well as vinegar.
A middle-of-the-road beer that I’d put in a class (based on taste and appearance) with Budweiser. clueo (84), Pennsylvania, USA Mar 20, 2008 Nice pour with a dark golden color and a sweet floral nose. The taste is nice and sweet hoppiness with a touch of fruit. The finish is smooth. A nice IPA! NJBeerman013 (542), Trenton, New Jersey, USA Mar 17, 2008 Draft. This brew is definitely a solid treat for my hop loving palate. It has a spicy, floral aroma with a touch of citrus zest. Upon tasting, it is loaded with a tremendous amount of hoppy zing with a good malt character to help this beer stand up. Delicious stuff.
