On tap at the Sanctuary. I’m less and less inclined to go for British ales these days, but this one really holds up. A classic bitter, rich and nicely balanced.

Pours with a nice amber color, but with a thin head. Has a nice malty flavor with a smooth finish. Very easy to have more than one.

It was just so so so nice to be able to try this legendary beer on tap here in the Antipodes. It was luscious, creamy, hoppy and malty. It was almost everything that I expected it to be, but not quite like the Twisted Ho Challenger that was based on it. I’m not sure if travel was a factor, but the Challenger does taste so good near its source. Nothing against London Pride. I recommend people to it all the time.

0.33L bottle, smallish quickly dissapearing head, crysrtal clear light copper colour with a steady stream of bubbles. Strong malty aroma with notes of caramel, honey, hops and some qxidised notes in the back. Strong bitterness acompanied by some herbal and peachy notes and some oxidation appearing in the back. aftertste is bitter and long with some peach and mango joining in.

Crystal clear amber in color with a small fluffy white head. Flavor is sticky and sweet. Reminded me a bit like watered down maple syrup, with a slight hoppiness in the mid-palate. Not a favorite but would have again in a pinch.
