I tried this beer on April 8, 2006 at “Smokeless Joe’s” in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a dark translucent red with a thin white head. The aroma was roasted malt and nothing else. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, and not very carbonated. The flavour was roasted malt, some sourness, and a little hoppish bitterness. Not as good as the Hebridean Gold, but certainly on par with the Black Cuillin

Dark red, thick off-white head. Aroma of hops, slightly flowery. Taste ok, but it’s quite weak. The finsih is unblanaced but I’m getting drunk and just won on poker. Coll.
