Styles (1611), Taylor, Michigan, USA May 12, 2008 Transparent copper/amber. Aroma is very sharp, alcohol, and faint fruity esters. Flavor again has a bunch of alcohol, some floral hints and tiny bit of skunk. Other than that not much else. UselessGdTaste (320), Long Beach, California, USA May 11, 2008 I could not get past the sweetness. I know, it is supposed to be that way but it was really like I took every sugary hard alcohol and put it into a beer. Palate was good though, but I could not drink it to save my life. Bockyhorsey (1787), Mesa, Arizona, USA Apr 24, 2008 Bottle wife got me for Christmas. Wet barley grain aroma. Copper body with good foamy white head. Floaters in inside the pint glass looked like you just dumped a full container of fish food in the tank. Bid shot of sediment sitting on botton of glass on finish. Barley wheat flavor along with some caramel for balance. Alcohol showed it angry presence on the palate with that yeasty shot of sediment and think I need some asprian and go to bed. Quality brew brew here lot going on. ChainGangGuy (1195), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Apr 20, 2008 Appearance: Pours a lightly hazy, orange-yellow body with a thin, white head on top.
Smell: Tangy, sweetish aroma caramelized wheat malt, honey, fresh wheat-heavy dough, bananas, and a big mug full of peach schnapps.
Taste: All at once, it’s floral and fruity, with a strong taste of pureed peaches and bananas. Wheaty dough flavor. Big kick of honeyish sweetness. Touch of caramel. A resounding moderate bitterness scatters the malts but is never overbearing. Fruity finish with a warming schnapps character.
Mouthfeel: Medium-full body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Quite fruity and quite good. Sure, I’d have another! Ando (83), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Apr 19, 2008 *liked it and would buy it.. i think*
