Commercial Description:
Dark and robust brewed in the style of a American strong ale, full bodied and screaming with hops.

Pint+ bottle from 6-Pack and Subs, Lancaster, PA...pours deep copper with off-white head...smell was very earthy with citrus, pine...nice smooth hoppy flavor with a little something extra to compliment the dark color, like a caramel...pleasant surprise for buying on a whim.

It had a dark copper body, and its flavor had the perfect amount of hoppyness to it.

Bottle. Pours amber with a thick off white head. Aroma is grapefruit hops and caramel malt. Medium body. Flavor is very subtle and not overpowering bitterness with notes of floral hops, caramel malt and fruit. Very good.

Thanks to hoplover406 for this. Shared with Ian and Deanna. Pours a slightly dark amber with a thick tan head. Big citrus pine aroma with a little bit of malt. Taste is grapefruit, pine, balanced with lots of sweet malt. Might be just a shade thinner than I like. Taste finishes dry and citrus like with a hop bitterness. Very tasty.

Really kick ass little brew here. It had everything that I look for in an American Strong.. sweet malts, a little earthiness and funkiness, and a blast of hops at the end. This brew has grabbed a spot on my top 3 American Strongs. I finished this bomber in record time.
