Dark brown color. Decent nose of coffee, with a hint of chocolate. Flavor is nicely balanced, with hints of coffee, and espresso roast. A nice ale.

12 oz. bottle - thanks to matt7215 for the trade; pours creamy brown with thin tan head; aromas are delicious - nutty, roasted coffee and slight bitterness; medium body and drinks silky smooth; flavors of chocolate and sweet coffee; very nice!!

Bottle from ’The Beer Store’ - Black as hell, huge frothy baileys colour head. Coffee and blackcurrent aroma, twinges of malt. Flavour: Mild espresso & chocolate with some pepper, not a heavy consistancy, in fact quite thin. It has a very short milky finish, not a bad little beer at all.

Near black colored with red hints. Little brown head. Soft vanilla in aroma with roastiness, chocolate and coffee, rich aroma indeed. Medium bodied, strongly carbonated palate. Flavor is also fine and softly palated with fine roastiness and some bitter hops, coffee lasts in aftertaste with mild vanilla. Good brew.

Very nice. Smooth, a unique coffee taste. Its creamy, a bit thin though, but not a whole lot of robust bitterness, which makes it interesting. Overall very enjoyable.
