Nothing elaborate just a well rounded easy drinking flavourful ale. coppery brown colour with decent white head. good malty nose and flavour which is not overly complex but still quite satisfying. Ported (35), Ontario, Canada Apr 21, 2008 Bottle. Copper with cream head. Mostly Hops and slight citrus and grassy flavour/smell. Moderately bitter, but not overpowering. Would drink again. sneagrams3 (1183), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Apr 16, 2008 Tasted 4/15/08. 12oz bottle. Filtered with an amber hue. Ring of medium bubbled off-white head. Nice hop nose. Caramel citrus and grapey. Nice! Light to medium bodied with a really nice flavor. Mild effervescence. Crisp body with dry hop palate. Mild bitterness. Good fun session! bierkoning (4430), La Tropica, Netherlands Apr 4, 2008 Bottle from Cracked Kettle. Amber color. Earthy, oily citric hopaaroma. Earthy hopbitter flavor, citric with licorice. Blackcurrant. Longish aftertaste. Hint of metal in the finish. The balance could be better, but this is a tasty ale.
