Apr 21, 2008 (From old notes, draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-01-11) Almost black. Quite small head. Lots of roasted malts in taste. Some fruity hops which balance the malts.

Feb 29, 2008 Small brown lasting head. Opaque black body. Sweet perfumy licorice aroma with roasty malty notes. Dry-sweet dusty licorice taste with delicate peppery hop notes. Sooty, with spicy hops. Slightly watery, but with excellent depth for such a light beer. Delicately harmonic and balanced. Very nice! (0.5l draft at Bishop’s Arms, Avenyn, Göteborg.)

Feb 4, 2008 Draught. Black with light brown head. Roasted, little bit of coffee. Quite thin. Not much bitterness in taste. Nice aftertaste with some smoke.

Dec 18, 2007 Black colored, medium lasting beige head. Roastiness, coffee, sweetness, mild chocolate in aroma. Medium bodied. Nice flavor: roasted, sweet, mildly smoky, aftertaste lasts with sweetness and smoke.

Nov 9, 2007 Draught@ Svenska Dagar, Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Thick, brown head with meidum bubbles. Quite black. A bit flowery aroma! Sweet, bitter finish. Oily with a long finish.
