VeloVampire (346), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 16, 2008 650 ml bomber - poured a pale, pale gold with some decent enough head. Aroma sweet and grassy. Flavour clean, grainy, really simple, but enjoyable enough. Refreshing but MOR. I’d take it over several imports or any macros, but it’s not something I’d buy often, especially considering the excellent options available in this style here. MrManning (1340), London, Ontario, Canada Feb 10, 2008 Bottle- Thanks Joey, I finally get to try this one. Sparkling pale gold pour, with a diminished white fizz. Aroma is grainy with lots of fruity yeasty esters. Some bubblegum too. Taste is pretty grainy sweet, some grassy hops, and it is quite fruity with subtle malts. Refreshing, clean, enjoyable. Maybe I got a good bottle? garthicus (480), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 21, 2008 Bottle - Banana, that’s what this beer screams at me, banana aroma with a slight hop flavour with tinges of banana too, ripe fruit finish, not a bad beer Tessic (349), Brantford, Ontario, Canada Dec 30, 2007 Thihs pils poured a light yellow colour with a big brite white foamy head. To the nose there was scents of corn, light vinegar scent and yeast. First sip was nicely carbonated but a little thin on the palate. First taste to come along was corn and it lingered for quite a while. Very watery beer lacking in flavour. The palate had this creamed corn flavour that other than, there was nothing. matt7215 (409), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Nov 4, 2007 680 ml bottle. pours pale yellow with huge bubbles but almost no head. almost no aromas until beer warms to almost room temp. some bready flavours but a very dry mouthfeel takes some points away. overall i wasnt to impressed. i hope the ale is better.
