May 13, 2008 Golden-bronze. Pear and orange nose with some wood. Pretty amarilloey with quite a bit of sweetness, notes of brown sugar, dalandan soda, that sort of thing.

May 8, 2008 On tap at O’Brien’s in San Diego--Pale golden amber San Diego-style IPA body with a wispy white head. Sweet, candy, hoppy, floral nose. Sweet malty, faintly cloying mouthfeel. Finished very bitter and sweet and dry. Not bad.

Apr 22, 2008 Draught Good, light-yellow head over beautiful old-golden beer. Hops, C-hops, US hops - do I need to elaborate? Yes, because there’s an aroma of FRESH celeri sticks. Bitter, fully dominated by the US hops, and little else. Maybe some caramel malts. Medium bodied, ending a bit harsh. Good IIPA, in the style of the name: workmanlike performance.

Mar 30, 2008 Tap at PP. Pours nice dark gold with small head. Smell is piney hops,bread, toasted malt and light peanut. Taste is same. Peanut after taste. Smooth carbonation and decent lacing. Tasty but not at the top for PP.
