DandyWolfFloyd (147), Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 24, 2008 Very nice. Aroma is pleasant malts, very much present. It’s appearance is a dark amber, with a nice white head. It’s flavor is packed full of malt, providing a tart malt character. It’s easy drinking, an excellent session bock. Very nice. jehoey (636), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 15, 2008 Pours brown with about a finger of white head. Aroma is very malty and carmelly with bread and sweetness. Flavor is malty as well, toasty, caramel, and moderately sweet. medium palate and moderate carbonation. pretty good, especially for the $22 a case price tag The_Captain (153), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 31, 2008 Nice amber/copper hue. Good head and carbonation. Really tasty Bock with pale hops and slight roasted malt flavor. Even balance and great taste on the pallet. Would have this again! Thanks to my buddy, Duder, in PA...
Poured a nice amber copper color with off-white medium head with ok retention...Aroma was very malty and sweet....Flavor of sweet malt with nice use of flavor and bitter hops.......Would have again if it was sold in Texas..... Tilley4 (218), Huron, Tennessee, USA Feb 14, 2008 What a nice little surprise this one was.
Beautifully clear amber color, remarkable..
Very malty aroma with some caramel and maybe a bit of bread. Starts a little sweet, then the roasted malts kick in and it goes back to sweet malt again. Very nice brew here.
Liked this one a lot. If I could get this one here, I would drink it regularly.
