notalush (1843), Rawn-kawn-kohma, New York, USA May 6, 2008 Crystal clear, light golden beer, with a frothy, lasting head - moderately floral and grassy aroma, with strong noble hop presence - crisp and peppery, with a nice saaz bite - mild, bready pale malts - hops become stronger as the beer dries out near the finish, leaving behind a floral, almost herbal flavor, as the dryness makes the mouth thirsty for another sip - a solid pils. wcampbell (330), Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA May 5, 2008 Great summer beer. Highly drinkable and refreshing. Grassy pilsner taste, but with a lot more going on. Crisp hoppy taste. Not much malt flavor. Simple palate. Light bodied. NIce bitterness in the finish. PilsnerPeter (1169), Flushing, New York, USA May 5, 2008 Bottle: Pale light golden/ yellow topped by a white head. The aroma has lots of fresh barley, light dough and tons of crisp grassy hops. Light fluffy body with a crisp flavor. Has some mild biscuit notes and a balancing dryness. Grassy and pleasantly bitter finish. Solid profile and extremely sessionable. popdoggy (93), USA May 3, 2008 yahoo for troegs, again. i have yet to be disappointed.
this is a perfect spring beer easy to drink, and if a little lesser abv then perfect session.
the drinkabiltiy and mouthfeel are the highpoints. iride15 (100), State College, Pennsylvania, USA May 2, 2008 It’s a typical pils from a company I wouldn’t expect typical from. The head dissipates fast and the hops are lacking. A dry beer that isn’t worth looking for.
