Ceebs25 (21), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Jul 4, 2008 On tap at Nevins. Very light aroma, i didn’t get much, mostly bitter, some copper hop bitter. Fairly watery looking, golden yellow color, carbonation, ok head from the pour, but dissapates to nothing, no lacing. Alot of light bitter copper grass, some sweetness, lingers ok, not complex, but very crisp and smooth. Ok, didn’t mind drinking it at all, but nothing special. hellbilly (732), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Jul 3, 2008 clear pale yellow color with a soft soapy white head. the aroma is dry graininess, earth, lemon, grass and mild skunk. the palate is quite dry with just a scant amount of sweetness from the grain. there’s some yeast, pale malt, grass and honey notes in the flavor with a dry spicy finish. medium body, smooth mouth feel and a parching quality. a bit bland but really refreshing in the arizona heat. Joakgust (52), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 3, 2008 Bottle, 33cl - Pale yellow color with a big frothy white head. Aroma is rather malty with a grassy hop aroma. Flavor is dry but pretty average. Surprised to see that such a large German company uses hop extracts though... Paul150 (4), , Georgia, USA does not count Jun 30, 2008 This was a decent beer; nothing special, though. Could not discern a strong aroma. Bottle poured golden into a glass and left a tiny head that dissipated within a minute. More of an overall bitter taste than I expected, but still a decent, light-bodied, drinkable beer. subcell (94), Portsmouth, Virginia, USA Jun 29, 2008 This is not bad for you average golden beer. The first time I had it was on tap in Switzerland and I found it very pleasant. Since I have started drinking darker beers but I still find this to be tasty. It is pleasant in aroma and has a slight hop flavor without being to bitter.
