A mystic legend echoes in our brewhouse - that of St. Lupulin the archetypal hophead. He devoted endless summers to endless rows of hops, tending to the flowers and the beloved resin within - lupulin. Extraordinary oils in this yellow resin provide this dry-hopped extra pale ale with an undeniably pleasing floral aroma and clean, crisp finish. One sip of this seasonal summer ale and you, too, will believe.

More hoppy than delicious malty. I prefer the malty brews. ---Rated via BeerBuddy for iPhone. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste citrus, sweet, grassy. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear light orange golden with a nice frothy white head. Aroma is tropical, caramel. Flavor follows. Medium body. Nice hoppiness all around, but minimal bitterness and surprisingly clean finish. Lots of character but very easy to drink. Very nice.

Bottle at home split with Sarah. Clear bright yellow/ golden coloured pour with a lasting pure white head. Aroma is hop resin, little lemon citrus, grassy. Clear bready malts on the nose. Flavour is composed clean bready grains, light hay, mixed citrus orange and lemon citrus hop, light grassy, resinous hop. Very well balanced and sessionable. Palate is medium light, little hop resin on the tonuge. Very clean ferment. Really tasty.

Aroma is citrus, floral and candy hearts. The flavor is citrus, fruit, candy hearts, malts and a mix of bitter and sweet in the finish. A little more sweet than expected, very balanced but just enough bitterness to remind you its an APA.

Clear golden pour with a big single finger head. Light mouth. Deep aroma of grass. Taste has some light bitterness to it. Hints of grass and citrus. Easy drinking. Slightly floral. Lots of hop resin.

On tap @ Odell. Orange in color with white foam. Sweet bready malts and orange. A little bit of floral and grassy hops. Some lemony hops and maybe a bit of tea. Sort of bitter but itís kind of on the sweet side, particularly for me. Good citrus hop flavors to it and some leafy hops. Pretty decent beer, but not amazing.

This is orange in color w/o much head to speak of. Itís got a pretty nice hop character to it--sweet citrus w/ a savory herbal element. Itís not too sweet w/ a good bitter bite and medium carbonation. This isnít really exceptional but it is a rather good beer when you get right down to it.

A hazy golden hue with a white that dissipates quickly. Very aromatic with a crisp fragrance. The flavor is a light crisp malt with a citrus finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at Three Kings in a shaker glass. It poured a clear orange amber colour with weak white foam. Malty, some rich caramel sweetness balanced by meaty US hops: grapefruit, black currant, pine resin, dank weed. Hops-forward for sure, but a tasty bittersweet balance overall. Medium body and carbonation, well-rounded mouthfeel, distinct layers lasted well into the aftertaste. Fairly typical American Pale Ale impression, nothing too memorable, but a particularly well-crafted one.
