Beerapprentice (111), Hopatcong, New Jersey, USA Nov 8, 2009 On draft at Capones. Pours a dark iced tea brown with a lasting white head. Tastes of bitter hops, malts. Not much on aroma except some hop aroma. DerWeg (748), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 28, 2009 A citrus hop IPA with truly balanced bitterness. Really nice medium dense feel. A little woody spice and peppery. pubscout (26), Perth Amboy, New Jersey, USA Oct 20, 2009 This is one GABF Gold Medal Winner that deserves the recognition. Smooth without excessive hop bite, fragrant with notes of tobacco and cedar, this is a wonderful session beer that would go fabulously with all kinds of foods. Lace follows your swig all the way down.My suggestion: A Humidor IPA and an Ashton Churchill, EMS, 54 ring gauge, MIBRomeo (1962), Wisconsin, USA Oct 19, 2009 A nice fruity IPA. Full and well balaned with a good amount of floral hops in the aroma.. I love the simcoe coming out in the flavor. Good full palate. Delicious beer.
I’m loving Cigar City. miketd (679), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Sep 15, 2009 Shared by StFun. Thanks! Pours yellow or gold with a nice white head. Aroma is tart fruit, earth and wood. Flavor is tart fruit with a touch of sweetness as the hops are in the back. Has a somewhat spicy finish. Not a huge fan of this. KimJohansen (6676), Copenhagen V, Denmark Sep 13, 2009 Clear amber with a huge beige fluffy head. Sweet aroma with cardemum, vanilla and cinnamon. Flavour was again very spicy with cardemu, cinnamon, hops and hints of carnations. Finished spicy. kegbear (265), Orange, California, USA Sep 11, 2009 Bottle thanks to juiceisloose.
