Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks ArizviSG. Elijah Craig, purple wax. Black with tan head. A little vinous, wood, vanilla. Deep sweet taste and a little spicy. Smooth, syrupy, no carbonation, a little alcoholic aftertaste. Very good.

At a tasting, thanks DSG, smallish creamy head, opaque black color, aroma of carob and dried figs, with some chocolate and coffee, flavor of coffee, dark chocolate, some chocolate cake and some cinnamon spiciness, just a bit heavy. Quite good but could be better.

65 cl bottle @ home (2012 vintage). Pours black with a tan head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. Aroma and flavour are roasted malt, bourbon, vanilla, and coffee - with a bitter finish.

@Basunen: vilken härlig doft av bourbon-fat. Smaken har en mycket god balans. Stora chokladtoner, vanilj, söt bourbon och kaffe. Härlig mjuk eftersmak. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!
