4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Not sure which is more important about this beer - 30 years of SN or that it was one of Fritzís last brews. 9% abv is there, but it more of an incredible dry stout than a imperial. The 2+ years I let this hang out was def. a good call as it has mellowed to excellence. It is very hard to find the abv behind all the great flavors. Normal suspects are in the lineup for flavors, but they are brilliantly balanced. Very pleased and a great reminder of the great brews SN has brought us for 30 years and the brilliance of Maytag. Cheers to Ken and Fritz!

After buying the remaining one at my local beer store, I find myself craving more of this. If only I was drinking Sierra Nevada a few years ago, I could be enjoying this one still.
