Funky sour smell and taste. The funk and sour levels were about medium. Medium body, medium carbonation, and low foam.

Bottle generously shared at RBSG. Big thanks! A: Cloudy orange, thin white head. N: Peach, apricot, lemon rind, grapefruit, peppercorn, melon, vinegar, and touch of the grape. Bit surprised by the overtures on this one, but very much enjoying it. T: Very tart - good level of fruit here. M: Light body, very sharp carbonation. O: A bit exciting beer. However, it’s also a bit too sharp for my taste and loses a few points there.

This was the first of spectacular line of these beers in a amazing vertical lasting at the RBSG grand tasting in Portland, Oregon. This poured a hazy gold with a white head. Nose is full of various aromas and my notes say there was sour fruit, wood, and some other funk. Medium in body. Mouth feel makes your taste buds dance. The flavor is amazing with sour fruit, the wood, and that soft smooth funk. The finish is tart and lingers. This beer is so complex I am lost for words, and I am amazed how well it has aged. What a treat.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very complex, with loads of oak, lots of funk, and tart stone fruits. Flavour is amazingly complex, with tart peaches, oak, wood, and some vinous notes. Low acidity and medium vinegariness. Elegant and highly complex. Wonderful stuff.

Bottle. Peach fuzz-colored with mild haziness and just a hint of bubbles atop. Fruity aroma -- peach juice, orange, lilac, red apple. Mild earthy hops. I can’t stop going back to take more whiffs. The flavor blends acid and fruit, leaning toward acid. Unripe pear, white pepper, green apple skin, red apple pulp, white wine. A flash of white vinegar and dandelion at the finish. Medium, peppery carbonation with huge, enamel-ripping tartness. Medium-light body. Good flavor, though the tartness is a bit out of control. It covers up the depth of flavor a bit.

This beer pours a slightly murky reddish-amber color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Vinous aroma with yeast, oak and malt notes. Medium body with flavors of vinous oak, herbal yeast, red grapes and earthy malt. The finish is tart grape and oak. Good beer all around.
