Overall, outstanding and memorable

Bottle shared at my 10K tasting. It pours very slightly hazy rose with a decent white head. The nose is fresh, sweet-sour, juicy, clean, light funk, vanilla, wood and raspberry pip. The taste is big tartness upfront, clean, crisp, tart raspberry, some acidity, raspberry pip, lemon sherbet and granny smith apple with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Good mouth-pucker. Very drinkable stuff. Pretty delicious.

Bottle shared in London during Scopey’s 10k - many thanks to Scopey. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy white head. A little raspberry and strawberry in the nose, mellow funk, lemon. Light sweet flavor with fleshy raspberry, pulpy strawberry, citric lemon bite. Light bodied with average, spritzy carbonation. Sharp acidic bite in the finish, up-front lemon, then undertones of raspberry, salt, straw. Cleansing, quenching, highly acidic.

Bottle split at Scopey 10K, massive thanks to Paulo, 26/11/15. Golden orange with a decent light beige covering that dissipates to edgeing. Nose is bitter raspberry, light smoke, berry tinged straw, funky, citric peel, trace of wood must. Taste comprises tarte raspberry, light pissoi, dry rot, barnyard, funk tangy berry sherbets. Medium bodied, fine to spritzy carbonation, drying close peppered with tarte raspberry leading to a puckering climax. Xolid.

This raspberry lambic was reminiscent of New Glarus without as much thickness in the body or residual sweetness. Very similar in the aroma with juuuust a little more funk if you really searched for it, but a big fresh whiff of raspberries up front and center. VERY quaffable, dangerously so. Light sweetness on the palate but still chalk full of raspberry flavor and a little stinky cheese and lemony barnyard funk. Another long time wish list beer that lived up to the hype

Generously shared by Ryan, many moons ago on Halloween. Fanastic spritzy tartness with good raspberry character, a bit mineraly, awesome stuff.

In short: An intense, uber-funky, uber-rustic, uber-dry fruity amber ale. Wow!
How: Bottle 375ml corked & caged, consumed 2 years after release. Bottle from Elliesbrown, thank-you so much Zack.
The look: Medium cloudy glowing amber body topped by a small off-white head.
In long: Nose has a superb bright funk, a dusty woody old attic, a walk in a countryside field, raspeberry seeds, fruit skin. Taste is just as bright and vibrant as the aroma. Crisp sundried countryside hay/flowers, dusty rusticity, raspberry seeds and a fruitiness that includes but goes way beyond just raspberries, dry oak, very funky stuff here, medium lactic acid presence, totally devoid of any acetic acid (yeah!), light cheesy notes, lots of tannins. Finish is bone dry. Sumptuous mouthfeel and smooth carbonation. Rather intense beer, loses a few points for low drinkability. A beer for a great cause with all sale of this beer donated to a Breast Care Center, I really hope we will one day find a cure for cancer and country music.
