Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 24, 2004 A pitch black beer with a beutiful dark brown head. The aroma is sweet roasted with notes af coffee, chocolate, and oranges. The flavor is slightly sour, but malty with roasted notes combined with chocolate, leading to a very dry end of roasted malt. madsberg (4365), Bangalore, India Aug 6, 2004 Draught @ the brewpubPitch black coloured. Brown fluffy head. Coffee, chocolate, fruit and light spicy aroma. Was just what I had hoped for. Flavour of strong coffee, chocolate fruits and hops and unfortunately a very irritation sourness in the background. Probably because its an old keg (the brewpub just opened after 2 weeks holliday and the waitress said the beer had been on the tap for quite a while). Has a nice and creamy end. Would love to taste this fresh. mwesth (279), Skovlunde, Denmark Jul 24, 2002 The best chocolate stout I have had! Simply fills your mouth with a balanced taste that last very long Mads Langtved (2246), København K, Denmark May 15, 2002 This is a ’kick ass’ beer. The best choccolate beer i’ve tried. It ought to be more known in the general public. Hildigöltur (5051), København Ø, Denmark May 11, 2002 Updated: Mar 28, 2004If I lived in Bredaryd I would drink this every day. It's a pity we cannot buy it here in Denmark. A suberb chocolate aroma and head. The taste is also world class. I like this better than Youngs Double Chocolate Stout. This is not just the best of Småland or the best of Sweden, this is (along with 3-5 other beers) the best of the world. I LOVE IT.
