Slightly hazy deep golden body, sparkle, white head; Very pleasant nose, overripe lemon fresh, warm spices, very special; Pleasant slightly sharp sparkle, slightly lemony, slightly dry, balanced and pleasant; Long finish with a very special spicy aroma, evolving from lemon yeasty fresh tosweet spicy malty. Another great Fantome with lots of character!

Chris_o’s GBBF Shindig August 08. Murky reddish brown. Hot pepper. Some sharp tangerine. This is a little wild and not at all pleasant. Undrinkable.

Bottle.70cl. Light amber colored. Very tart, pepper, bitter and sour. Perhaps not one of my favorite Saisons but well made and enjoyable.

A Sim rate (bottle at Chris O’s): Pepper, almost offensive except I like pepper. Stale oil. It’s that place on the corner of Clerkenwell Road that always smells of dodgy food. Bizarre reddish amber colour. Tastes of pepper sauce. I’m sure that beer is not supposed to taste like a sauce for a steak. Pepper. Pepper. Pepper. But wait, there’s more. It’s other spices too. Celery salt. In fact, it’s every spice that comes in Mrs Dash. I’m just not feelin’ it.
