Pours a hazy copper colour with a big frothy beige head, great retention and soapy-foamy lacing. Citrus aromas of grapefruits, but with oranges as well balancing things. Hints of pine and caramel. Nice grassy hops over the roasted malts, with notes of cocoa, citrus and coffee. Not a hopbomb Black IPA, being from England, but a well-balanced hop and darker ale brew. Overall, the hops are well-blended.

Best før 04.05.15. Mørkt brunt mot svart. Herlig duft av bitre frukter og noe vanilje. Markert bitterhet med noe skog og granbar. Veldig godt, men sansynligvis litt friskere om det hadde vært ferskere.

Pours dark brown/black with a thin light brown head. Comes with a floral coffee aroma. The flavour reinforces the floral and citrus notes, supported by chocolatey malts. Fairly clean aftertaste. Good stuff.

Nearly black, huge, fluffy offwhite head. Aroma has pine, resin and citrus. Chocolate and caramel flavour with solid pine bitterness. Quite well balanced.
