Medium dark brown color. Nice fruity hoppy nose Big rich mouth, treacles,Molasses, caramel, milk chocolate, mildly sweet. This is fairly sweet for the style, but great depth. Modest bitterness at the end.

Tap at Brewdog Brussels. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Lots of citrusy hops in the aroma. Dark malt. Med body. Flavor is some chocolate, some dark malt, and a good deal of citrus hop. Very light hop burn. A really good black IPA.

On tap at Brewdog Brussels. Pours near black with a thick tan head and a treacle and citrus aroma. There is a rich chocolate and dark molasses flavor with a dry bitter citrus finish. Stays on the palate for a while.

From can large foamy head that lasts. Dark brown to black color. Smell of fruity hops that reminds me of strawberry banana milk shake. Mildly fruity smokey burbon taste with a bitter but good after taste. I prefer gamma ray and bloody’ell but still good.

From can in IPA glass. Nice hoppy nose, citrus with earthy undertones and a bit of mocha. Rich malt taste featuring caramel and aniseed that transforms for the better as it warms. Bam-a-lam, indeed. More please.

A beautifully balanced black IPA perhaps only let down by a slightly too sweet finish. The aroma is of roasted coffee, citrus and a hint of chocolate. The taste includes sweet nougat with coffee, cream, grapefruit and sherbet. It hides its alcohol brilliantly.

Pours very dark brown with good beige head. Aroma of chocolate and pine hops with hint of coffee. Very slight smoke aroma too with some pepper. Medium carbonation and good mouth feel. Taste is hoppy but with a nice light porter edge. Mostly chocolate and light smoke but with good dry bitter hoppy finish
