An absolutely awesome 750 ml bottle thanks to emacgee. Pours a very dark brown color with a large brown head. The aroma is great; loads of roasted malts, dark fruit, molasses, cocoa, loads of malts. The flavor is similar; lots of roasted malts, sweet molasses, cocoa, chocolates, light bitter hops, full of flavor. Very good. I’ve had a lot of Imperial Stouts, and I never get tired of beers like this. Awesome. Drank after the Penguins victory for the Stanley Cup!!

06/07 Bottle shared by ucusty. Thanks Dave! Pretty solid imperial stout but what can i say, it doesn’t do much for me. Chocolate and molasses are the most dominant flavors though you can definitely taste the age in this brew. Alcohol well hidden but damn most imperial stouts are making me snore.

Pours a dark black that allows some light. One finger tan head. The nose is rich, chocolaty, molasses, some alc, woody, some age coming through. Flavor is roasty, molasses, rich chocolate/coffee, nice balancing bitterness, sweet. Palate is very nice, full and smooth with a nice bitterness.

750ml bottle vintage 06/07. Thanks to the infamous Fyrecrakker for this one! Dark pour with a nice chestnut colored head. Roasted malts and light oxidized aroma. Roasted malts, coffee, and fruit up front. Creamy chocolate finish. This was a very solid beer in a style im not really into anymore.

750ml bottle from a trade many years ago that I can’t seem to figure out who this was from. So about 2 years old. Pours a dark black with a tan head. Dark and rich aroma that has aged well. Roasted molasses, bourbon, dark fruit aromas with slight notes of oxidation. Molasses is heavy but balanced well in the flavor as well with coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, dark fruits with a syruppy sweetness that fades to a dry roast. Nice brew.
