COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It's big and full bodied with lots of roasted malts and balanced with heavy hops to put this imperial in a league of its own.

Pours pitch black with minimal head. Strong chocolate aromas. Sweet on the tongue at first, with strong roast bitterness kicking in. Huge body, massive taste. A great way to end an evening.

355ml bottle, 11% abv, from Ølbutikken in Copenhagen. Shared at the annual Absalon tasting session ’13. Tan-coloured head leaving spotty lacing behind. The body colour was black as pitch. Cocoa nose. Creamy chocolate and cold coffee flavours with a bite of hops to it. Roasted malty ending. Full bodied. Nice slow sipper (hotel room, Copenhagen 26.05.2013).

Black with fair, lasting brown head. Aroma is semi-sweet, lactose/milk chocolate, chocolate, roasty, slightly woody. Flavor follows through. Sweet and roasty. Full body, slick. Roasty bitterness with some booze on the finish - really nice. Its not big and loud, more soft-spoken and thoughtful. Excellent.

Roasted chocolate malt. A little woody, and a little creamy. Cocoa. Beer is very light, creamy, velvetly, yet a strong (medium body) taste. Ends strong- a little boozy and a roasty/bitter aftertaste. Awesome

Bottle at home. Pours a nice black, thick and creamy with some brown head. Great chocolate, coffee and roasted malt aroma with a flavor that is pretty much on par with some of the better stouts out there. Really a solid beer, the abv is well hidden and it is an easy drinker.

Little boozy and taste of burnt coffee & chocolate. Still easy drinking for imperial stout. ---Rated via BB for iPhone by NW

Another beer from Ed, thanks! Aroma of milk chocolate, waffle cone and light coffee. Appearance is inky black with a ring of mocha head. Flavor matched the nose; the palate is medium, oily and soft. A good IS.

Pours black with thin red head that quickly disappears. Aromas of roasted goodness with a light sweet taste. This is a very good beer. Glad I had the opportunity to try it.
