Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a somewhat hazy yet clear copper body with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dies. Carbonation is seen rising at a moderate pace. The smell had some pine hops, light mango, some light peppery spice. The taste was bittersweet and peppery with the pine and citrus aspect combined fairly well, dry sweet aftertaste and finish. On the palate, it sat at/about a medium, decent amount of carbonation on this bad boy, ABV not felt so its fairly sessionable. Overall, this is a good DIPA, but still think there’s other DIPA’s out there that I like more. I’m glad I tried it.

A- Pours a clear, tangerine hue with a small, eggshell head. S- Citrus, bready T- Very bready upfront which leads to a wave of citrus and an ass kicking barrage of hops of the back end. Grapefruit all the way through with a grapefruit bitterness to match. M- Fairly viscous with medium-high carbonation for the style. D- This is a great effort by founders and I love the grapefruit qualities.

Great smelling IPA. Not all citrus, pine, hops or malt like some other IPA’s but instead a perfect marriage of all four. Classic beer color only slightly darker. Thick head of white foam that sticks around awhile with good lacing. Highly carbonated - You can hear the fizz as it’s being poured out of the bottle. The taste is not too hoppy, not too bitter. It’s malt sweetness up front with a long lasting ever-changing aftertaste of different types of hops. This might be better than Stone IPA . . . I need to try them side by side. Excellent beer; it’s a must try.

From 12oz bottle. Hazy, translucent orange in glass. Nose is grapefruit and floral hops. Some apricot too. Taste is light booze. honey, bitterness from the hops, and some light pine resin. Orange sherbet. Nice and tidy compared to other double IPAs.

Flaska från SB. Rödbrun dimmig vätska med en fin liten brun skumkrona. Doftar Baileys med kokos. Kraftig alkoholsmak och Baileyskänslan ligget kvar. Lämnar en bedövad gom med viss sötma och beska. Ingen öl i min smak...
