Pour from a 12 oz bottle. CLoudy pale amber brew with smaller head. Aroma of fantastic hops and malt combo - floral, citrus, fruit with sweet hops under all. Taste is a little sweet malt and then fantast hops complexity. Fine palate. Excellent brew.

From the Bottle. Intriguing aroma that stands out from other DIPA’s, Grapefruit , Honey and hops with some malt present. Very clean and balanced which is hard to achieve at these strengths. Not too sweet or too cloying. I get honey sweetness with some hop bitterness but nothing astringent. By far the most competent version of this style I’ve had, sure some booze is present but it doesn’t burn or mask any of the other flavours. Finishes clean. Founders know what they’re doing.

Wonderful beer. The hops are very clean and powerful with the malt in the finish helping take the edge off of the hops. Delicious beer

Pours a hazy golden orange with a white head and hoppy, citrus aroma. Taste is sweet and hoppy, of citrus, peach, pine, and grass with a bitter finish. Tasty brew from Founders, fruity and hoppy double IPA.

4/6/12 bottle consumed today. Pours a dusty golden color with a sticky witn head that clings to the top ring of the snifter. Looks like a crisp English cider. Tangerine and quomquat aroma. Taste starts off the same but also features honey sweetness mid palate and then a floral, Earthy, and slightly grassy and resin hop bitterness. Very full and flavorful with good malt. Delicious 2IPA.

Draught. Clear bright gold with a thin head. Aroma is soft, sweet citrus with mango and pineapple notes. Full flavor with a long finish. Strong bitterness with lots of tropical fruit. Absolutely none of the alcohol shows. Full bodied.

12 oz. bottle, pours a slightly hazy golden with a small white haed. Aroma is quite piney, with tree bark and sawdust, and bready malts to back. Flavour is fruitier than the nose suggests - oranges especially - with lots of piney hops, some honey sweetness and caramely bready malt. Somewhat dry palate, with a lingering bitter pine-dominated finish. Excellent.
