Det här var en mycket trevlig upplevelse, kraftig och smakrik som en öl bör vara. Smaken präglas främst av kaffe, choklad och en ordentlig beska. Slutsats: en riktigt god öl.

Really fine beer! Nice thin top, almost black colour, enjoyable mouthfeel, complex and sophisticated taste.

When this stout was served to me, I almost thought they had slipped me a Guiness because the light tan head was so thick and creamy that it looked like a nitro tap. This did hide some of the aromas, but what I could get was signaturewest coast IS with the chocolatesand sweetness balanced by grapefruit hops. The alochol was quite obvious in the aroma as well so it lost a tick there. The flavors are built on a base of roasted malts with a milk chocolate sweetness well balanced by the bitter, lightly citrusy hops. The alcohol is pleasantly warming and doesn’t detract from the overall experience. Very nice stuff.

Huge head, good retention, excellent lacing. Fruity aroma for a stout? Good body with some coffee notes in the back. Clean finish, excellent beer.

Great beer. In a lot of ways it’s something to sip like a good whiskey - strong, dark, chocolately aroma with a beautiful color, like a deep scarlet. Taste immediately fills your mouth and nose with smoke and deeper herbs, with a slow round finish. Not an "everyday" beer by any means, but absolutely fantastic.

Poured into tulip. Hasty pour, left about four fingers of light tan head. Very dark color. Smell is a hint of chocolate and coffee. Taste is creamy chocolate with a bitter hoppy finish. Very smooth. Love this beer.

A black body with a brown head and a whole lot of lacing. An aroma of hops, malt, and strong coffee with a small amount of chocolate and alcohol. The flavor has lots of hops and malt with coffee and some chocolate and a very smooth aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

flora malty oldness, dark but hard to tell drank from bottle, taste was largely roasted malts, did pick up some floarness from hops, overall this was a older bottle some some of the flora hops may have faded, but a good stout none the less!
