BREWMUSKCLES (1062), New Jersey, USA Jul 6, 2009 watery and well cooked to produce maximum flavor from any potential moneymaker. they say a good cook can do well with anything. spicy hop in regional tradition of company. clean tastes and finish... nothing that we all do not know already. arventresca (334), Greenville, North Carolina, USA May 23, 2009 Tap. Pours amber with nice white head. Not know what this beer was when I ordered it, it didn’t take me but one sip to figure out is was an A-B product. Watered down amber lager, but worse products exist. daknole (2810), Plantation, Florida, USA Jan 25, 2009 yeah yeah yeah. premium lager my ass. another subpar AB product. Grainy nose, grainy flavor. Move along. roder60 (1019), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 20, 2008 Told by a waitress that it was Budweiser’s version of yuengling. Not quite the case. Pours a darker clear brown color (more so than yuengling). Aroma sweet and corny. Flavor sweet and a bit nutty. Watery but more substance than expected. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Aug 18, 2008 Name: Skipjack Amber

morrdt (608), Jacksonville, Florida, USA Jun 30, 2008 Sampled at the 2008 Folio Weekly Beer Festival in Jacksonville, FL. Draft. Seems strange that with a Budweiser brewery here in town, this beer isn’t found around town. Nice amber color and taste, this is a bit better than the usual Bud offerings. They should make this available here in North Florida. subcell (95), Portsmouth, Virginia, USA Jun 30, 2008 This is an awesome Amber. My wife and I make it a point to go to Chi Chos as it is the only place in our area that we know of that serves it. That is all we really get is the beer. It has a beautiful amber color and nice malty aroma with a hint of hop. the flavor is well balanced and the after taste is very nice. This is a great beer! I just wish I could get it in bottles. kimcgolf (825), Dacula, Georgia, USA Jun 19, 2008 Updated: Nov 30, 2008Not a bad amber ale, especially for a BMC. Poured to a nice ruby red color with off white head that lingered well and left okay lacing. Nose was nothing much, but it had a pleasant mouthfeel (medium bodied) and a decent taste. Finish was medium duration and alright. This would actually make an okay session beer.
I had this rating in my mind as I drank it on tap, not knowing who brewed it, and it is not fair to downgrade just because it is a macro.
