JB175 (1660), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 11, 2009 Draft @ Capones. Great glolden-orange color with a solid citrusy hop blast in the nose. Citrus and tropical flavors abound in what has to be my favorite new IPA to hit PA in awhile. Balanced, tasty, awesome. afireinside96 (817), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 10, 2009 On tap at The Brass Rail. Clear copper with a mostly lasting off-white head. Notes of passion fruit, bubblegum, and grapefruit in the nose. The flavor was not your typical IPA and included notes of passion fruit, kiwi, bread crust, pine, and grapefruit. The bitterness levels were kept in check by the relatively full body. Excellent stuff. Miver (552), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 8, 2009 Draft at Capones. Poured orangish copper in color with a large off white foamy head that left great lacing on the glass. These Cigar city beers are all great looking. Aroma is hoppy and floral. Notes of grapefruit and caramel malt in the nose. Tastes of piney, floral hops, grapefruit. The hop character in this seemed to have solid notes of British hops but also american. Not sure which hops they used, but I really enjoyed this. alobar (1007), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 8, 2009 On tap at Capone’s. Pours a clear amber color with a thin white head Aroma of hops, pine, and grapefruit immediately hit your nose. Very smooth with exceptional lacing. Pleasantly aromatic, big grapefruit notes, slightly spicy notes, and muted sweet malt hints... Initial big grapefruit notes, muted by a sweet malt shot in the middle with the bitter grapefruit lingering pleasantly, a little one dimension in the flavor profile... Good mouthfeel somewhat warming in the finish, a touch orangy in the finish... While only being my third Floridian beer, this dispells the myth that no quality beers come from Florida.... watson1977 (250), , Pennsylvania, USA Nov 6, 2009 pours a clear honey/amber color...almost copper...with a medium sized light tan head. aroma has some caramel malt, citrus and earthy hops. flavor has some citrus but is more earthy and spicy hops with caramel malt. mouthfeel is lively and slightly sticky. finish is dry and lingers with spicy hops. hopdog (5535), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 5, 2009 On tap at Capones.
