Two of Boulder’s most adventurous breweries have collaborated to bring you a brand new, truly unique, Belgian-inspired strong ale! For quite some time, the brewers from Avery and Mountain Sun have enjoyed one another’s beer and friendship. After many "quality control" sessions at the Avery tasting room and the Southern Sun Pub, they decided it was time to brew together. The result is a beer that reflects the creative spirit of both breweries as well as the collaborative nature of the craft-brewing industry.
At 9.1% ABV, this Black Saison style beer features a strong dose of American hops, a hint of sourness, and a complex, pronounced spiciness derived from the use of Tasmanian pepper berries.
This beer will only be available at Mountain Sun, Southern Sun, Vine Street Pub, and the Avery Tap Room.
