Charles Wells and Young’s merged in 2006. Brand acquired solely by Charles Wells in 2011.
Britain’s most favoured light ale, often mixed with Young’s Bitter. Pale amber in colour with a complex but clean and nutty nose. A clean, satisfying blend of malt and hops, more bitter than the average light ale. Maris Otter pale ale, torrefied barley, crystal malt, fermentation sugar and Fuggles and Goldings hops.
