Kopstootje, one of our own favorites here at the brewery is making its third appearance around Portland. The biere de garde style beer is formulated to be the perfect back to the wonderful Bols Genever. Sharing many of the same ingredients - barley, wheat, rye, maize, ginger, angelica, juniper, clove, and more, the Kopstootje shows an exciting nose but drinks light and crisp, thanks to a careful lager fermentation at elevated temperatures in one of our open tanks. Try it with a pour of the Bols for the complete experience!
