Description:
An Imperial Kölsch isn’t something you see every day so we thought we’d give it a go! “Imperialising” beer is a US fad where normal beers have their ABV (and also hop rate) ramped up which is what we did to our Ersatz Kölsch. We used only US Crystal hops which, being relatives of both Cascade and Hersbrucker, give a noble hop flavour with overtones of tangerines and orange zest.
