Beer Camp #59 (9/14/2011). This unique beer is brewed with 300 pounds of crushed Petite Sirah and Tempranillo wine grapes! This amber colored beer has an intensely fruity aroma with notes of citrus, strawberry, and green table grapes. The flavor has a moderate malty backbone with the sweet-tart flavor and mild tannins of the grapes. Birra Vina is hopped with the unusual Nelson Sauvin hop variety to add to the grape-like flavor.
