Left to their own devices, the brew team developed Double Red Rooster, which eventually went into barrels and transformed into this tawny, rich brew with hints of tartness. Ingredients: 2-Row, crystal, melanoidin, special B, chocolate and honey malts; peak alpha hops; top-fermenting yeast; natural, limestone-filtered, Edwards Aquifer H2O; last-minute inspiration.
