Description:
Stray Dog Lager is made with two row barley, crystal malt, and munich malt. A high mash temperature allows for the extraction of non-fermentable sugars to create thick body. This is where Stray Dog Lager gets its distinctively malty flavor. Four varieties of hops are also added in three steps. The month-long fermentation and lagering process allows the flavor to mellow. Stray Dog Lager is best served at forty degrees and pairs well with chicken, pork, or lightly-spiced food.
