Launched at the Free Trade Inn, Newcastle on 6th September. Diabolus is a soured Temptation. This 10% abv Russian Stout is crossed with a Belgian Gueuze. The result is being hailed as a new beer style which combines the tart acidity of gueuze with the full roast body of Imperial Stout. The evening was fascinating. Steve gave a talk to interested drinkers and Mick provided a line-up of sour beers from Cantillon to Mikeller.
