If you step out onto the BCBB back patio, you can see our raised bed gardens and fresh hop bines. We are proud of what we have been able to grow in such a small urban space. These ingredients show up in our special burgers of the day, our mixed drinks and now even our beer. Using our house-grown hops and Serrano peppers, we crafted this beer to sip as the days get shorter and we begin to plan next year’s garden. Fresh wet hops impart sweet fruit and grassy flavors, while the restrained use of the peppers adds a more earthy character without much heat. Try this well-rounded one-off brew while it’s in season. We hope you enjoy drinking it as much as we did crafting this creative concoction. Hops: Fuggles, Durham Chinook, Cascade, Nugget.
