Style of beer typically English; originally was served in the pub on tap with manual pump systems or gravity at cellar temperature.
Characterized by a prevalence of malt and caramel and roasted notes.
The hops are well balanced and can give tones of bitter but the prevalence is always the malt. Serve between 10 and 12 °C. Ingredients: water, malted barley, hops, yeast.
ROSSA, MORBIDA, SFIZIOSA. Birra ad alta fermentazione, dal colore rosso intenso, aroma di frutta sciroppata e secca, gusto pieno e maltato, abbinabile in tavola o per una serata in compagnia. Caratterizzata da una prevalenza di malto e da sentori caramellati e tostati. Il luppolo è ben bilanciato e può dare toni di amaro ma la prevalenza è sempre del malto. È tipico il sentore fruttato dovuto agli esteri presenti. Abbinamenti: primi piatti saporiti, arrosti, carne ai ferri, formaggi. Pizze sapide, con affettati o salsiccia. Servire tra 10 e 12 °C. Ingredienti: acqua, orzo maltato, luppolo, lievito.
