Description:
The first in the Barrel aged series saw the release of limited edition cask conditioned O’Hara’s Oak Aged Barrel Aged Folláin (6.8%) in September 2012 and launched at the All-Ireland Craft Beer Festival in the RDS, Dublin. To create this craft beer, a 60 day maturation process is required. During the process the stout takes on the essence of bourbon from the American white oak whiskey barrels, complimenting the tobacco and dark chocolate flavours characteristic of Leann Folláin. With only a limited number of casks available this first edition went fast!
