Description:
This ale is a mild porter cranked up on freshly roasted organic coffee beans from Ocean Grounds Organic Coffee for an intense nose and flavor, with hints of roasted grains. Straight out of El Salvador, Aida Batlle’s Organic Finca Buenos Aires Tabion coffee beans were thrown into the beer for 2 weeks to infuse the brew with brown sugar, all-spice, and complex fruit notes. The Taibon beans compliment the use of imported malts and hops characteristic of Slow Boat beers. Balancing Pacific Northwest hops, this brew combines the best of the coffee and beer world.
